The Federal Ministry of Education and Science has allocated funds for the project implementation realized from sales of Lottery of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the year 2010.

The project will be implemented throughout Herzegovina Neretva Canton through the following activities:

1. Implementation of a mini-campaign aimed at prevention and awareness raising among vulnerable category of children and their parents about the dangers and possible abuses of information and communication technologies for the exploitation of children and child pornography in general.

2. Workshops for children aged 12 to 15 years, teachers and pedagogues in selected primary schools, orphanages in the area of Herzegovina Neretva Canton to raise awareness about problem existence in BiH and prevention of the phenomena.

A free SOS on-line application for assistance and reporting of child pornography and pedophilia cases, as well as providing information to children and parents through the existing website of “Novi put” has been already established.

The activities to be implemented in primary schools have been approved by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of HNC.
