SWGfL has launched a global consultation to develop a Model National Framework for addressing non-consensual intimate images (NCII), marking an important step toward strengthening international responses to image-based sexual abuse. Novi put is proud to be part of this global initiative as a partner and active contributor, having also participated in the development of the Model National Framework.

We were pleased to participate in the Civil Society Briefing on the UN80 process at the United Nations in New York, featuring insights from Sima Bahous of UN Women and Guy Ryder of the United Nations.

Findings from the 7th Global Media Monitoring Project – GMMP will inform the development of actionable steps to stop violence against women and girls in and through the media at an event on 17 March at 18:30–20:00 EDT (UTC-4) during the 70th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women.

We were proud to contribute to this important discussion at CSW70, highlighting the urgent need to address gender-based violence in both media and digital spaces.

The Global Media Monitoring Project (GMMP) is the world’s largest and longest-running research initiative on gender representation in the news, providing a global evidence base for assessing progress toward gender equality in the media.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina GMMP 2025 national report, based on the analysis of 253 news stories from 20 traditional and digital outlets monitored on 6 May 2025, reveals a persistent gender imbalance in media agendas and representations, closely mirroring patterns identified in GMMP 2020.

Association Novi put is proud to have authored the chapter for Bosnia and Herzegovina, highlighting key challenges, trends, and urgent priorities for protecting children’s rights in our country.

This report is based on assessments by 84 Eurochild members and contributors in 36 countries and provides an overview of children’s rights and child poverty in these countries. Drawing on evidence from organisations and professionals working with children, the report provides an in-depth analysis, through a children's rights lens, to ensure that rights on paper become rights in practice.

We thank Eurochild for highlighting the alarming cases of child trafficking and sexual exploitation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which constitute grave violations of children’s rights.

On the occasion of October 18 – the European Anti-Trafficking Day, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, in cooperation with the Coordination Team of the Government of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton for Combating Human Trafficking and the association “Novi put” Mostar, organized informational and educational activities in front of Mepas Mall in Mostar.

“Novi put” is implementing a project funded by the Council of Europe aimed at preventing and reducing digital and sexual violence against women and girls in Herzegovina-Neretva and West Herzegovina Cantons.

At the heart of our work are grassroots awareness-raising campaigns that reach directly into local communities.
